How do our inner world and the collective spaces we belong to actually shape each other? That’s the question at the heart of our next gathering. The India Collaboration Network’s (ICN) ‘Living as Learning Series’ continues with ‘Inner Work, Outer Flow: Holding Self and Collective’, a session of embodied practice, reflection, and open dialogue, held by Jayasudha Roselet, with Jayashree Vyasarajan Arasu and Rritu Rana supporting. We’ll open with a simple hands on activity using a strip of paper, move into Ken Wilber’s four quadrants, a well loved framework for self reflection, and close by turning that same lens onto the IDG collective itself. The Inner Development Guide describes this ground well, under Relating, Caring for Others and the World: “Connecting with kindness, compassion, and a sense of shared belonging to communities, the living planet, and future generations helps us to create a more just, inclusive, and flourishing world.” We encourage you to block this time on your calendar in advance. If you can, keep a pen, some paper, and a few colors nearby, though simply being present works just as well. Whatever brings you to this circle, a first visit or a returning one, you’re warmly welcome here. What’s one place in your life right now where your inner world and the collective you’re part of seem to be shaping each other?
